Makers Fair

Matthew found out on Tuesday that he got accepted to showcase with Bazarre Bizarre at Maker Faire in San Mateo , CA at the end of May. We are SUPER EXCITED! Not only do we get to showcase + sell Matthew's work to a whole new crowd but we also get a vacation out of it!



Maker Faire is basically the biggest DIY festival in the US. It's a two day event all about Making stuff. I keep describing it as folks that make giant catapults and launch handmade rockets as well as crazy costumes, making crafts and buying handmade goodies.

Does anyone have suggestions for hip little DIY stores and galleries in San Francisco we can check out? We plan to spend a few days before and after the faire in San Fran.
